Blue Horizons Concentrated Phos Away helps reduce phosphates in your pool
water, thereby removing a food source for algae growth.
Application Instructions
1. If the pool has algae, follow normal steps to cure.
2. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If not in this range,
adjust.
3. Backwash the filter if necessary.
4. Shake the bottle well and with the filtration running, add the require dose
slowly via a clean and empty skimmer.
5. Run the filtration for a minimum of 24 hours after product application,
then backwash the filter thoroughly to remove trapped phosphates.
Blue Horizons Concentrated Phos Away acts as a dual-action phosphate remover and controller, making it suitable for both prevention and cure.
Phosphates are naturally occurring chemicals found in nearly everything. However, since they are a potent plant food, you don’t want them in your swimming pool water as they promote rapid algae growth. If your swimming pool frequently turns green, you might have a phosphate problem.
Phosphate levels are measured in parts per billion (ppb), and ideal levels should be kept below 200 ppb. Any level above this may cause problems in keeping your swimming pool clear.
